elbows and knees

What a terrible dream
elbows, slashed at the seams, 
like a vile disease
Makes you think what it means -
faceless elbows and knees - 
maybe nothing at all
just a meaningless fright
of an army of arms
on a midsummer night
or perhaps there's a metaphor lurking in there
in the limbo of limbs in their limitless plight
but alas I can't see it, I guess I'm unwise
Or - perhaps - I can't see cause they've taken my eyes
