This project was for Splashes of Hope.
We at Splashes of Hope dedicate ourselves to transform, enrich and facilitate healing through art. With this mission, we have brought murals and other artistic projects to medical and social service facilities around the globe. Our murals are custom-designed to meet the specific needs of the facility’s patients, staff and visitors.

The painting above is on a 2x4 foot ceiling tile of a children's hospital. The theme asked for was "underwater". So, I painted a Hippocampus, something a bit different than normal fish and mermaids.
I hope the patient who's ceiling holds my tile will like to look at it. It took about 4 hours to complete, and is painted in acrylics.
I've titled it Lavender, because lavender fragrance is supposed to soothe and calm, as I hope this painting does for the patients <3

It is really beautiful Sage! I like the smooth flow of the body. I wish this had been in my hospital room when I was in there a few times
