My Kingdom“Come, come,” she says as she pulls me along, her exuberant azure eyes glittering in the morning sun streaming through the window in the hallway. Her name is Rain. Mine is Wynter. Our parents had always been fond of nature, and named us after their two favorite seasons.It’ Sunday, the only day I don’t have work. I had promised Rain I would let her show me something. Though I am her legal guardian, I’m still her big brother, too.Rain and I had never been close. I was always busy with schoolwork, which I had always seen as a priority in life. Though I knew family was important, I just never found the time nor made time to give them the love and attention they deserved. Studying and writing took up much of my time, and I never really paid all that much attention to my sister.
